Bio

My name is Stephanie Alexandra Skyrm and I'm from Southern Maryland. My makeup career started at a young age when I studied dance at Julie Rogers Studio of Dance. Ms. Julie would give us makeup and modeling lessons. Learning to apply stage makeup made me fall in love with the art at the age of 12 and that's when I knew I found my career path. I furthered my education in the study of skin care and makeup, at Chesapeake School of Esthetics in Annapolis, MD.  After graduating and passing the state board exam, I went straight to work at a Salon in the area and became their busiest makeup artist in a very short amount of time. Shortly after I started working with The Massage Den in Deale, MD doing mobile spa parties which gave me the customer service experience I was looking for.  I was finally ready to work for myself; that’s when I created Stephanie Alexandra Makeup, LLC.

My passion is working with woman and educating through makeup and skincare. It’s seeing the look on a teenager’s face who has an acne problem. When they look in the mirror after I’m done, and they no longer see acne. They finally see themselves, and the difference is amazing. It’s the best feeling in the world to show someone how beautiful they truly are.
